A New Position At Astyra

Congratulations to our now Corporate Communications Specialist, Tianna Mosby!

This position has never existed at Astyra until now. After a year of working with us, we rewarded Tianna with this promotion to manage our social media platforms, write our quarterly newsletters and create and update our blog page.

In addition, we are expanding her role to include helping the IT Security team. She will have the opportunity to assist with platform integration, documentation and asset management.

We’re excited to see her grow in this new career!

2019 Social Media Campaign

For the past two months, Astyra has worked hard on strengthening our social media presence with the help of a consultant teaching us the ins and outs of social media marketing and increasing audience interaction.

We started the process by running an advertisement with creatives made by us. This was the first time we have run a Facebook Ad and we had a great turnout! We reached over 35,000 people in the Nashville, TN and Richmond, VA areas and were able to find potential candidates for positions in both locations. With such great results, we hope to run another Facebook Ad campaign in the near future.

Keep an eye out for our newest addition to the social media world…a job-finding Facebook Group!

Petersburg Fall Fix-Up Day 2018

Pam from RTR and Tianna

Our Operations Admin and Executive Assistant, Tianna volunteered with Rebuilding Together Richmond (RTR) one rainy Saturday this month.

The organization hosted their third annual “Fall Fix-Up Day” in Petersburg to help repair over ten homes and community spaces and clean up trash around the area. This day is similar to RTR’s “National Rebuilding Day,” which is a full day of home repairs and community revitalization in the Spring.

Tianna acted as their Communications Specialist by managing their social media platforms. She spent the day taking pictures and videos, creating posts and interviewing volunteers and homeowners on the event.
