A major utility company outsourced its Windows 7 migration project to Astyra. The endeavor involved 20,000 workstations, across 3 states, over 10 months, and staffing 15 associates. The effort included managing the staff’s travel, coordinating schedules, and working with little to no disruption to the day-to-day operation of the organization.
Chicago Public Schools outsourced their entire 134 person team of file clerks to Astyra for their school redistricting efforts. Astyra screened and interviewed over 400 candidates to build out the team. There was a goal that 60% of the employees be city residents. Astyra exceed that by reaching 76%.
When the UCI Cycling Championships came to Richmond in 2015, Astyra was selected as the exclusive staffing provider for the 2 week long event. We provided retail employees, drivers, warehouse staff, crossing guards, and numerous other roles totaling over 100 folks.
The Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) outsourced its computer room operations to Astyra as one of the very first vendors to perform work for the agency. Over the course of 4 years, Astyra maintains a computer room staff of 17 resources across 3 different shifts.
