Responsibilities:

  • Contractor will report through the Design Engineering organization assisting with the management of site projects from initiation to closeout phases.
  • Will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas.
  • Should have strong team building skills, demonstrated skill and ability in effectively leading teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
  • Ability to coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.
  • Contractor will be expected to obtain unescorted access to the facility and will need to be able to comply with and complete all nuclear badging requirements.

Top Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with managing electrical and I&C projects at site from initiation phase (funding requests, starting projects), through Design, Execution (Field Implementation) and Closeout phases.
  • Demonstrated experience with Electrical, I&C disciplines focused projects.
  • Experienced in following Station Processes and Project Management best practices to manage Projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with using Online and Outage processes to schedule projects.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
  • Experience with reviewing P6 Project Schedules.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.

Preferred Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience
  • Nuclear Projects experience.

Engineering Technician

Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Operations Test Engineering Manager, the Engineer Technician, Test will be responsible for the execution of test procedures, as well as performing post-test data processing and reporting to engineers.
  • The qualified candidate will have ownership of their work through all phases of product development, production, testing, and integration supporting internal and external teams as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide test and technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Execute comprehensive component and system-level test plans, procedures, and test events
  • Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews
  • Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances.
  • Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving test equipment and infrastructure.
  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as component and systems-level test results and engineering design changes.
  • Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
  • Maintains engineering documentation and reports (procedures and test reports)
  • Support internal and external customers’ needs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve test problems and aid manufacturing, inspection, and engineering issues.
  • Analyze data and provide reports in a variety of customer formats
  • Knowledge with Laser Tracking Software such as Spatial Analyzer.

Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
  • Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience in testing, systems engineering, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or other.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with hands-on project experience.
  • Excellent communication skills – presentation, oral, written, and listening.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in an integrated team and adapt to change and dynamic requirements.
  • Demonstrated technical writing and/or procedure development skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing automation or other lean manufacturing/testing methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM related field.
