Our new Payroll & Benefits Administrator, Colin Shomo, was born and raised in West Virginia.
He joined the Navy in 2011 as a Personnel Specialist, providing payroll support to 5,000 sailors while on deployment. This role endeared itself to Colin, as he saw first-hand how the work helped and impacted his shipmates.
In 2015, he exited the service after satisfying his initial contract and moved to Richmond to further his education. He later began working at Dominion Payroll, where he provided support for the company’s many clients.
In his spare time, Colin enjoys reading poetry, thinking about food, and anticipating the day when he can safely visit his friends in New York!
