Identity Service Owner
*This is a hybrid position with 4 days/week onsite required

Description:

  • The purpose of this position is to manage delivery for the Virginian Identity service which is in the Enterprise solutions directorate.
  • This position responsible for developing and promoting the Virginian Identity service.

Responsibilities:

  • The position will utilize ITIL and other principles to gather requirements identify customer demand and develop the service that leverages the existing expertise and infrastructure.
  • Identify opportunities for to revise the solution.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure the solution is delivered to customers in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide strategic direction for delivery of the Virginian Identity service.
  • The position will ensure the service aligns with evolving customer needs and compliance requirements.
  • The position will be responsible for working with customers and vendors to identify opportunities and ensure consistent delivery.

Required/Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated service management skills., Required 10 Years
  • Knowledge and experience with identity management tools., Required 10 Years
  • Knowledge and experience with single sign-on tools., Require 10 Years
  • Understanding of best practices in service management including contract and vendor management., Required 10 Years
  • Proven ability to manage delivery of the service with Service and Operational Level Agreements., Required 10 Years
  • Demonstrated ability to adequately plan and meet delivery objectives and maintain adequate service levels in a highly dynamic, complex environment., Required 10 Years
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills, along with the ability to develop and effectively communicate complex technology concepts and materials to a dive, Required 10 Years
  • Experienced in creating and managing budgets., Required 10 Years
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good customer working relationships, Required 10 Years
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management, customers, and vendors., Required 10 Years
  • Understanding of outsourcing contracts and the service delivery management implications., Required 10 Years
  • Experience in enterprise security and maintaining compliance per security standards., Required 10 Years
  • Experience with Client/Stakeholder management and preparation of proposal / technical presentations is required., Required 10 Years
  • Previous service delivery experience, Highly desired
  • College degree in Information Technology or an associated discipline., Highly desired
  • ITIL certification, Highly desired
  • Experience in the State and Local government managed services, Highly desired
  • Knowledge of Information Technology security standards such as SEC530, Highly desired
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-63-4, Highly desired
