Astyra ranked #1246 on the 2009 Inc. 500|5000 list
RICHMOND, VA – September 25, 2009 – Astyra Corporation has been recognized by Inc. Magazine on one of America’s fastest growing, privately held companies. Since the debut of the Inc. top 100 list in 1991, then expanding to the Inc. 500 in 1992, then to the Inc. 500|5000 in 2007 “the list has served as evident of the significant accomplishment of entrepreneurial companies” said Jane Berentson, Editor of Inc. Magazine. “We are extremely pleased to be recognized on a national scale. This award is particularly meaningful to Astyra in that it comes during a time of nationwide economic downturn. Companies in the Inc. 500|5000 are ranked according to the percentage of revenue growth from 2005 to 2008. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, therefore able to show four full years of sales. The must also be U.S. based, privately held, for profit, and independent as of December of 2008. Revenues in 2005 must have been at least $200,000 and at least $2 Million in 2008.
