*Local to Richmond, VA preferred

Description:
- The client seeks to digitize and automate current paper-based records to streamline access to information across the agency.
- The client is digitizing its paper-based records for storage and management in SharePoint.
- The client seeks a SharePoint Architect to support the digitization effort by creating and managing SharePoint sites for customers across the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on SharePoint features and how they apply to their unique needs
- Understand and apply records management principles/rules based on individual customer requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create consistent user-friendly design and implementation approach
- Apply user UI/UX best practices to ensure 508 compliance adherences to the clients’ design standards and provide a seamless user experience
- Understand and troubleshoot security issues customer questions and other inquiries as needed
- Understand and apply the clients’ approved standards and processes
- Develop a SharePoint Records Center using retention labels to manage required retention policies creating and managing file plans and building simple workflows and processes
- Develop solutions that comply with existing security protocols and guidelines
- Identify and escalate items that are architecturally significant and thereby affect development design/approach/solution
- Engage in consistent and ongoing interactions with customer subject matter experts
- Facilitate trainings and education opportunities
- Other duties as needed
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Extensive knowledge using SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
- Ability to manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center
- Experience with SharePoint site creation UI/UX design document library configuration view creation and metadata management
- Extensive knowledge and experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies specifically: Power Apps – Model Driven Power Apps -Canvas Apps Power Pages Power Automate – Cloud flows Power BI – Desktop Publishing to Online Power Query AI Builder
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- previous experience as a SharePoint Developer/Architect, Required 5 Years
- UI experience, Required 4 Years
- UX experience, Required 4 Years
- developing custom SharePoint solutions, Required 4 Years
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform, Required 3 Years
- Creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate, Required 5 Years
- Experience with SharePoint site creation, UI/UX design, document library configuration, view creation, and metadata management, Required 5 Years
- Professional experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies, Required 4 Years
- In-depth understanding of SharePoint in a records management, information governance or compliance role ideally with strong Records Management knowhow, Highly desired 2 Years
- In-depth understanding of the Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, and O365 platforms, Desired 2 Years
- PL-100: Power Platform App Maker Associate, Desired 2 Years
- Exam SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Desired 2 Years
- Exam MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administration, Desired 2 Years
- Power Platform Fundamentals, Highly desired 2 Years
