AWP Systems Engineer
*Local to Raleigh, NC preferred

Description:
- It’s expected that the Test Engineer/Jr. Systems Engineer will be available 8 hours during standard business hours 8AM – 6PM M-F local time.
- This is technical and analytical work in designing developing implementing and supporting AASHTOWare Project AWP software for bidding letting certified payroll compliance and market analysis data analytics reports and dashboards for the client.
- This role works with business analysts and other technical staff to deliver required functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules to the clients’ business customers in an agile environment.
- It is expected that this position will be needed for the next year or two.
- This is technical work with AWP and supports participating in a wide range of activities related to implementation and support including system administration reporting automated testing configuration and interface development.
- This individual will work directly for the clients’ Transportation Letting and Compliance Systems LCS manager.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience clearly communicating with developers, product analyst, customers and managers, Required 2 Years
- Strong experience with automated testing tools and methods, Required 2 Years
- Ability to review and translate business user specifications/User Stories into Test Cases, Required 2 Years
- Ability to clearly explain technical issues and processes to team members, software vendors and potentially other DOT’s, and manage testing support ne, Required 2 Years
- Ability to work independently, managing own work task and deadlines, and coordinating team participation with others to complete testing assignments, Required 2 Years
- Ability to organize and manage a central repository of Test Cases, and ability to migrate existing MS Excel test documentation to a centralized tool, Required 2 Years
- Strong experience working in a SCRUM software development and support team, Required 2 Years
- Familiarity with data models and ability to read them and research data relationships, Required 2 Years
- Knowledge of any of the following: MS Power Automate, SQL,C#, .NET, python, PowerShell, command line or similar, to automate task, Required 2 Years
- Strong experience using MS Azure DevOps, MS Teams, O365 applications, MS Office Suite applications, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive , Required 2 Years
- Ability to work well in a virtual team, Required 2 Years
- General familiarity with change management processes in an enterprise, multi-stage environment (ServiceNow or similar), Highly desired 2 Years
- General knowledge of IT and software development best practices, Required 2 Years
- Experience with AASHTOWare Project software, Department of Transportation experience or similar., Required 2 Years
- Experience with Windows Server/Desktop maintenance including installing applications, analyzing application logs, Required 2 Years
- Experience with Cloud Services experience like AWS or Azure, Required 2 Years
