Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Description:
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the implementation configuration governance and ongoing management of our enterprise Azure environment.
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about building and maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms and who is ready to set the standard for cloud excellence across the organization.
- We are looking for a senior-level engineer with deep expertise in Azures ecosystem proven enterprise-grade operational experience and the ability to provide technical leadership across teams and to management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on the design implementation configuration and governance of Azure resources networking and security policies
- Implement maintain and monitor mission-critical cloud resources in a large enterprise environment
- Manage and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations ensuring reliability and continuity
- Plan lead and execute cloud migration initiatives including moving workloads from on-premises to Azure
- In-depth experience working with other areas of IT such as architecture security development and governance.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for production applications and infrastructure
- Utilize security tools such as Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation and improve security posture
- Build meaningful observability solutions using Azure Monitor Workbooks Alerts and related tooling
- Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery DR strategies to minimize downtime and protect critical data
- Demonstrate strong networking knowledge including OSI model concepts core network protocols and network level troubleshooting
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and providing guidance on resources & infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, Required 10 Years
- Experience with Terraform (highly-preferred) or at a minimum, other IaC methods (ARM, Bicep, etc.), Required 7 Years
- Experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises envrionments to Azure, Required 10 Years
- Experience working in mission-critical enterprise environments and implementing backup & DR strategies, Required 10 Years
- Experience implementing networking and security policies in Azure, Required10Years
- Experience using Azure Monitor for alerting, observability, and dashboards, Required 10 Years
- Experience with vulnerability remediation & working on security initiatives, Required 10 Years
Preferred Qualifications/Nice-to-Haves:
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar
- Networking certifications such as Network CCNA or equivalent
