Description:
- Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with a technical background to support software development IT Projects using a mix of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks related to business analysis including problem/opportunity identification elicitation of requirements and management of stakeholders to meet business and project objectives.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness consistency comprehensibility feasibility and conformity to standards.
- Create process models specifications diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
- Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Communicate changes enhancements and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers sponsors and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and the development team.
- Work with other BSAs Data Analysts Business Architect Development and Data Governance teams to ensure the needs of these partners are incorporated into project requirements.
- Develop user acceptance tests and facilitate their execution and business validation discussions and meetings.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong experience in developing, executing, and managing cloud hosted SaaS implementation projects., Required 4 Years
- Knowledge of both Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management practices and when to apply each according to organizational and project needs, Required 5 Years
- Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio, Required 5 Years
- Experience with automated requirements/development management tools, Required 4 Years
- Technical background., Desired 3 Years
- Experience in healthcare projects, Desired 3 Years
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Desired 2 Years
- Proficient in writing user stories, Required 4 Years
- Knowledge of JIRA or Azure Dev Ops Tools, Desired 3 Years
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background.
- Experience in healthcare projects.
- Experience with Data Modernization Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- PMP Certification through PMI or Qualified under Commonwealth of Virginia Qualification Standards
- Experience with VITAs Commonwealth Technology Portfolio CTP system and ECOS process
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
