Oracle Applications DBA
*Local to Richmond, VA only please
*This is a primarily remote position with occasional onsite requirements for meetings and events
Description:
- Oracle applications DBA to support the clients accounting system Oracle EBS GL AP AR and the 25 Oracle APEX applications and the underlying Oracle Databases.
- This includes quarterly security patching system and database upgrades problem resolution and deployments.
- This role requires knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle database features.
- Experience with applications developed using Oracle APEX versions 21and 24 and workflow features.
- This position may require some night and weekend work due to patching.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Oracle Application database administration version 19, Required 5 Years
- Experience with Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24 with workflow, Required 5 Years
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 running in Linux environment, Required 5 Years
- Oracle database upgrade experience, Required 5 Years
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) System Administration, Required 5 Years
- Experience with Windows and Linux OS, Required 5 Years
- Experience with Oracle database maintenance, patching/upgrades, creating Oracle service requests, resolving issues promptly, Required 5 Years
- Experience with the Oracle database job scheduler, Required 5 Years
- Strong understanding of RDBMS principles, Oracle database related best practices, Required 5 Years
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently, effectively communicate with team members, and provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, Required 5 Years
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required 5 Years
- Ability to create clear and usable technical and non-technical documentation., Required 5 Years
- Experience with writing scripts to perform routine data loads, Required 5 Years
- Experience with SQL, PLSQL, Required 5 Years
- A good understanding of software development life cycle and experience with waterfall and/or agile SDLC methodologies, Required 5 Years
- Experience with deploying changes for APEX applications, Desired 5 Years
- Some experience with designing Oracle solutions and software development, Desired 5 Years
- Experience with migrating Oracle EBS, APEX Applications and databases from on-prem Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) servers to Cloud, Desired 5 Years
- Experience with Unified Auditing is a plus, Nice to have 2 Years
- Experience within healthcare environment, Nice to have
