Operations Analyst

*This is a 1-year contract position
High-Level Project Overview:
- Monitor and dispatch outage trouble calls, analyze outage information to determine problem locations, prioritize emergency, outage, and non-outage work for first responders, and communicate with customers to assess power issues
Top Required Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks from start to finish while managing constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and make well-thought-out decisions
- Ability to analyze large data sets from multiple information sources and create an appropriate action plan
- Strong customer service skills with prior experience in a long-term, hands-on operations analyst role supporting internal and external clients
- Prior dispatch experience, such as 911 operations centers or utilities operations centers
Soft Skill Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
Preferred Years of Experience:
- Hands-on dispatch or operations center experience preferred
- Utilities operations center experience or 911 operations center experience as an operations analyst
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
