Network Engineer 2
*This is a hybrid position requiring at least two days/week onsite. Candidates local only to PA only, please.
Description:
- Our client is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to assist network and security team with network security server maintenance and support for local area networks metropolitan area networks and private cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- The successful applicant must be capable of meeting or exceeding challenging deadlines while performing daily duties that will include:
- Build maintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
- Ensure current patch level is maintained on servers.
- Assists in investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot physical Cisco and distributed virtual switches VMware.
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers Cradlepoint.
- Monitors the teams open backlog of support issues.
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- VMware vSphere experience, Required 2 Years
- Server Administration experience, Required 3 Years
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Desired 2 Years
- Cisco Networking, Desired 2 Years
- Cisco Unified Communications – VOIP, Desired 1 Years
- Nessus by Tenable, Desired 1 Years
- Firewall Administration, Desired 1 Years
- Linux Administration, Desired 1 Years
