.NET Programmer Analyst 4
*This is a1-year contract position – Hybrid
Description:
- The .NET Developer supports the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#.
- Collaborate with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers.
- Report to the Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access patterns.
- Contribute to the modernization of the tolling platform using microservices and modular architecture.
- Develop new application features and enhance existing functionality.
- Participate in performance optimization efforts across application layers.
- Integrate with Azure-based components and cloud services.
- Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Experience developing applications using .NET Core and C# — Required: 7 Years
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices — Required: 7 Years
- Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments — Required: 7 Years
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices — Required: 7 Years
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines — Required: 7 Years
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams — Required: 7 Years
- Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools — Desired: 5 Years
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and microservices — Desired: 5 Years
- Experience with distributed systems or high-availability environments — Desired: 5 Years
- Understanding of tolling or transportation systems (preferred but not required) — Desired: 5 Years
- Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks — Required: 3 Years
- Azure Data Factory — Required: 3 Years
