Medical Billing Specialist III

Job Description
- Responsible for maintaining accurate client records and supporting client billing, remittance, and revenue recognition processes.
- Acts as a key support resource for clients, internal teams, and management by researching and resolving inquiries, ensuring billing and contracting data accuracy, and communicating insights to help mitigate revenue risk.
- Ensures all billing-related activities comply with Employer Solutions policies and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures Billing System is updated timely, appropriately, and accurately to support accurate Client Remittance and proper revenue recognition for assigned Clients, including all new business.
- Ensures timely delivery of billing cycle invoices to Clients.
- Prepares fee for service spreadsheet for billing and includes the individual billing for all customers.
- Researches and responds in a professional and timely manner to inquiries from both clients and other Internal Staff.
- Research information regarding complex inquiries, develops solutions, and communicates the outcome professionally by telephone and in writing.
- Communicates with Account Executives to ensure that Client data is gathered in a timely manner.
- Responds to client/account management requests to update/change client information and ensures that all changes are made within operational guidelines and accurately support all other system-related functions.
- Follows through on additional requests/projects as requested by Management.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Data Entry, Bookkeeping, and/or Payment Reconciliation is preferable for this role.
