IT Application Trainer
*This is an onsite position
Description:
- The Application Trainer is responsible for delivering effective end-user training for the Electronic Health Records application to ensure successful adoption usability and ongoing proficiency.
- This role designs develops and delivers training programs documentation and learning materials while working closely with Health Services Health IT and vendor teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications
- Develop and maintain training materials including user guides quick reference sheets videos and e-learning modules
- Customize training content based on user roles workflows and system configurations
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches
- Support application rollouts upgrades and system changes through targeted training initiatives
- Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert SME on application functionality and workflows
- Collaborate with Health Services Health IT and vendor teams to align training with system capabilities
- Maintain training schedules attendance records and completion metrics
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Education Information Systems Healthcare Informatics Business or a related field or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in application training software implementation or user education
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences
- Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint LMS platforms or video authoring software
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear user-friendly manner

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Adaptability to different learning styles and technical skill levels
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to travel as needed for on-site training sessions
Working Conditions:
- Combination of remote classroom and on-site training environments
- Occasional travel may be required
- May require flexible hours during system go-lives or upgrades
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in application training, software implementation, or user education, Required 5 Years
