CADD Support Specialist
*This is an onsite position

Responsibilities:
Software Packaging and Deployment:

  • Create software packages for SCCM with 5 years’ experience with a focus on Autodesk and Bentley products both also 5 years’ experience.
  • Download and prepare vendor software for packaging.
  • Perform test installations of out-of-box OOB software.
  • Determine the appropriate installation method e.g. batch or PowerShell script.
  • Develop installation scripts following established standards and best practices.
  • Test and validate resulting scripts.
  • Deliver completed packages to the SCCM team for Software Center testing.

Testing Coordination and Support:

  • Coordinate with technical leads business users and project managers during package testing.
  • Collaborate closely with testers to improve the end-user experience.
  • Address and resolve questions or issues that arise during the testing process.

Technical Troubleshooting and End-User Support:

  • Resolve or assist in resolving cross-application technical issues.
  • Provide support for end-user software installation issues.
  • Manage and update Active Directory groups related to CADD support.
  • Research and recommend hardware for purchase when needed.

Communication and Teamwork and Process Adherence:

  • Provide accurate and timely status updates.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative team environment to meet shared objectives.
  • Share application-specific knowledge across teams.

Quality Documentation and Process Adherence:

  • Complete assigned tasks within established time estimates.
  • Follow organizational quality standards and procedures.
  • Develop refine and document expert practices and standards.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate complete and up to date.
  • Identify track and resolve issues risks and action items.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging tools and apply them appropriately.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve issues impacting the team.

Documentation Editing and Standards Development:

  • Develop maintain and document expert practices and standards.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate complete and aligned with established guidelines.
  • Perform technical editing of training materials.
  • Adjust layout and formatting to conform to required styles.
  • Revise text for clarity accuracy and consistency.
