C# Developer
*Local to Richmond, VA only please
*This position is fully onsite for the first month, then will be hybrid with 3 days/week onsite or as needed
*We are not considering Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements for this position
Description:
- We are searching for a quality C# developer to program maintain code and .NET solutions for our business.
- In this role you will be required to design write and maintain C# program code for our future and ongoing projects.
- You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server.
- Candidates must describe experience with large menu driven business systems such as claims processing payroll medical or insurance type applications.
- The candidate will be knowledgeable in transferring data between application screens selecting and scrolling through large amounts of data add/update/delete order-entry type of transactions and building new screens and reports.
- To ensure success as a C# developer you must have an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework prolific coding abilities and be able to problem-solve on a daily basis.
- A top-quality C# developer will be able to handle the creation maintenance and further development of .NET applications and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
- Creating in-house applications using the.NET framework.
- Debugging and maintaining written code.
- Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
- Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
- Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
- Working in a project team alongside other developers.
- Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
- Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
- Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- C# .NET 3.1 or higher
- Angular gRPC would be a plus
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
- Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
- Knowledge of other coding-languages COBOL PHP C Java Python Coldfusion etc. would be a plus.
- Ability to write clean easy to understand code.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary.
- Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
- Experience with working in an agile environment.
