Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer
*This is a hybrid role. Candidates will be on-site 3 days a week and remote for 2 days.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage Oracle OCI environments including database middleware and infrastructure components
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services
- Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies
- Plan and execute database upgrades migrations and conversions
- Implement and manage backup recovery and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools
- Ensure high availability disaster recovery and data protection
- Monitor and optimize database performance implementing tuning recommendations
- Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues providing timely support
- Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management
Skills:
- Oracle grid control to include version 13c, Required 7 Years
- Oracle weblogic 12c/fusion middleware, Highly desired 7 Years
- Oracle apex administration and support , Required 5 Years
- Oracle db migration from solaris to linux (database 12c/11g), Required 10 Years
- Oracle database backup/restore/rman/dataguard, Required 10 Years
- Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management, Required 10 Years
- On-call production support, Required 10 Years
- Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azureadministration, Desired 3 Years
- Windows/sql server/IIS administration, Highly desired 5 Years
- Oracle database 19c and above, Required
