Description:
We are seeking a Field Technician 3 to support our Norfolk Flight OPS department. As a member of the Flight OPS department to support to provide technical assistance to the TAF RTBS at an unclassified level.
Responsibilities:
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate the problem in minimum time.
- Installs, upgrades, and removes products, ensuring coordinated engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
- Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications, and technical support on E-2C Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
- Supports testing, exercises, and operations at OCONUS locations.
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- An associate’s degree in an appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2C specialized experience or a high school diploma and six (6) years of E2C Avionics and Electrical Systems experience.
- Must be willing to travel OCONUS 100% of time.
- A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Work may be done without established procedures.
