Senior Network Architect
*Local to Richmond, VA only please
*This is a hybrid position with 3 days/week onsite
Responsibilities:
- Plan design and configure LAN WAN VPN and wireless networks.
- Ensure network architecture meets organizational security and performance requirements.
- Monitor network performance using tools and dashboards.
- Maintain network documentation topology diagrams IP address schemes configurations.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated network problems.
- Collaborate with helpdesk and system administrators for cross-functional issues.
- Analyze network traffic and usage trends.
- Recommend upgrades or changes to improve performance and scalability.
- Plan for future growth and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain network disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations and changes.
- Prepare reports on network health incidents and performance metrics.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
