Power Platform Developer
*Local to Raleigh, NC only please
*This is a hybrid position with 2 days/week onsite
*We are not considering Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements for this position
Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MS Power Platform Developer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an innovative centralized solution for collection management and reporting using Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps and Dataverse.
- This role will focus on developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Pages to support both internal staff and external stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate has strong experience in data architecture system integration and scalable application development.
- The primary focus of this role will be to design and develop a centralized reporting tool with enhanced user experience for data entry automating user authentication and verification processes and delivering training to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable applications using Microsoft Power Apps Canvas Pages and Model-Driven Apps.
- Build and configure secure user-friendly portals using Power Pages or Canvas for external and internal users.
- Develop and manage data models within Microsoft Dataverse to support structured public health data collection.
- Write and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and database structures to support reporting and integrations.
- Implement role-based access control and data security best practices for both internal and external users.
- Perform testing debugging and performance tuning of applications.
- Maintain documentation for system architecture data models and processes.
- Implement a SQL database connector within Dataverse to enable PowerApps to query a local SQL database automate cross-checks between a currently authenticated Portal user and the SQL DB to ensure that there is a user match and share limited information associated with that user.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation, Required 7 Years
- Proficiency in PowerApps, MS Pages and Dataverse, Required 7 Years
- Knowledge of SQL database structure, Required 7 Years
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, Required 3 Years
- Microsoft Certification-Power Platform Developer Associate, Highly desired 7 Years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills., Required 7 Years
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Required 7 Years
