Microelectronic Technician I
This is a 6-month contract position.
On-site – Local candidates in Manhattan Beach, CA only.
Work Shifts
- 1st Shift (4/10) Weekday: 4:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)
- 2nd Shift (4/10) Weekday: 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)
- 1st Shift (3/10) Weekend: 4:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Friday–Sunday)

We are seeking a Semiconductor Fab Technician to support operations within a semiconductor fabrication facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., photolithography, etch, deposition, metrology, packaging)
- Load and unload wafers while ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Perform routine equipment startups, shutdowns, and calibrations
- Assist in the troubleshooting process of deviations and equipment issues
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols
- Accurately record production data, logs, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support process improvements
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within a cleanroom environment
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer and communication skills (Microsoft Office)
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (gowning required) and handle small, delicate components
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and work various shifts, including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a FOD-controlled lab environment
- 0-2 years of experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or shop order systems
- Associate degree or technical training in Electronics or a related field
- Experience with semiconductor equipment (wet and dry processes)
- Exposure to low-volume, high-mix R&D or prototyping environments
- Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes (front-end and back-end)
