Full Stack Developer (Laravel)
*Local to Raleigh, NC only please
*This is a hybrid position with 2 days/week onsite
*We are not considering Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements for this position
Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Laravel Full-Stack Developer with strong platform and cloud awareness to support and evolve an existing enterprise web application.
- This role combines hands-on full-stack development solution upkeep and forward-looking planning for modernization and potential platform migration.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable owning the application end-to-end-from Laravel backend and Node.js or other frontend to deployment and operational considerations-while working closely with Enterprise Architecture cloud security and other stakeholders to align with organizational standards and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain support and enhance an existing Laravel-based web applications and interfaces
- Develop and maintain frontend components using modern Node.js other frameworks
- Own full-stack integration including APIs authentication data access and application security
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application container and cloud infrastructure layers
- Participate in solution roadmap planning and future-state architecture discussions
- Coordinate and align planning and technical decisions with Enterprise Architecture security and infrastructure teams
- Ensure application changes comply with enterprise standards architectural principles and governance requirements
- Contribute to evaluation and planning for platform modernization including:
- Migration to public cloud
- Consideration of SaaS or MSP-operated hosting models
- Improve CI/CD pipelines deployment reliability and operational practices
- Produce and maintain technical documentation design artifacts and decision records
- Collaborate effectively with product owners architects and stakeholders in a hybrid work environment
Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience migrating applications between cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Service Azure Container Apps or similar PaaS offerings
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience Terraform Bicep CloudFormation
- Experience working with MSPs or SaaS hosting providers
- Prior experience in enterprise or regulated environments
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Laravel (application architecture, queues, jobs, migrations, security), Required 4 Years
- Demonstrated proficiency with Node.js and at least one modern frontend framework, Required 4 Years
- Proven full-stack development experience in production environments, Required 4 Years
- Demonstrated experience with containerized applications (Docker, ECS, AKS, Kubernetes, Azure App Services, or similar), Required 4 Years
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS; Azure strongly preferred), Required 4 Years
- Familiarity with managed services and PaaS/SaaS hosting models, Required 4 Years
- Experience working with GitHub Enterprise and collaborative development workflows, Required 4 Years
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, or similar PaaS offerings, Highly desired
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), Highly desired
- Experience working with MSPs or SaaS hosting providers, Highly desired
