Senior PowerBuilder Developer
*Local to Richmond, VA only please
*This is a hybrid position with 3-4 days/week onsite
*This is a 4 month contract position
*We are not considering Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements for this
Description:
- The client is seeking an experienced senior-level PowerBuilder developer to provide analysis support and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system as well as development and implementation of the GenTax-IRMS interface under the direction of the client.
- This individual will work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Technical knowledge in designing developing and maintaining client processing and revenue management systems
- Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional
- knowledge.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team.
- Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze assess requirements-
- Work independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment.
- Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Hands-on experience developing PowerBuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher, Required 7 Years
- Design and develop clear and maintainable code, Required 5 Years
- Team Foundation (Azure Dev Ops) Server and it’s use to support version control, and application lifecycle management, Required 5 Years
- Experience working with Agile/scrum project management methodologies, Required 2 Years
- Able to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment, Required 2 Years
- Pay attention to details and have a result driven mind set, Required 2 Years
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate with other application development teams, team leads business analysts., Required 2 Years
- Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19C or highter or MySQL or similar, Required 7 Years
- Design and develop clear and maintainable code, Required 7 Years
- Product knowledge of IRMS system and/or functional knowledge., Highly desired 7 Years
- Must be either US Citizen or Green Card Holder, Required
