Systems Integration Analyst
*This is an onsite position

Description:

  • The Systems Integration-Staff performs work associated with the engineering, maintenance, operation, and support of the organizations critical Systems Integration Architecture responsible for the secure exchange of health and business data/information between systems, devices and applications both across the enterprise and with external cloud services, customers and partners.

Responsibilities:
Operations:

  • Analyze data as required to support Integration engineering and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Monitor integration performance using dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor and work integration error work queues.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve integration issues & errors.
  • Monitor vendor maintenance & release schedules.
  • Analyze impact of vendor upgrades & new releases in advance of changes.
  • Evaluate vendor upgrade & service bulletins and take necessary actions.
  • Update integration connections.
  • Update vendor specific public & private keys.
  • After hours, weekend, & holiday on-call rotation.
  • Maintain integration CMDB inventory.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Work tickets in various Incident and Request queues.

Architecture, Design & Engineering:

  • Elicit and record Integration Business & Functional Requirements.
  • Perform systems analysis & record findings.
  • Perform systems design using modeling tools (e.g. Visio) to prepare Integration Architecture diagrams.
  • Engineer Integration Translation tables.
  • Engineer filters to ensure compliance with Organizational Compliance policy.
  • Prepare Data Mapping specification.
  • Prepare Data Flow and Business Process Flow diagrams.
  • Define & execute Integration Test Scenarios.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Engineering.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • 3 years Systems Integration or relevant experience (EPIC preferred)
  • Basic knowledge Requirements definition and analysis.
  • Common data standards and data exchange methods.
  • Integration engineering concepts and techniques.
  • Integration Engine usage, tools and, technologies.
  • EHR main system functions.
