Timecard Coordinator

Description: Astyra's client has an immediate need to hire a highly motivated and seasoned Timesheet Coordinator professional to contribute to their continued growth in the healthcare marketplace. The Timesheet Coordinator will be a thoughtful professional that will have excellent attention to details and a commitment to customer service excellence. In addition the Timesheet Cooridnator will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to effectively communicate to all employee levels within the organization. The Timesheet Coordinator will report directly to the Payroll Director. The primary responsibility for the Timesheet Coordinator will be to provide timely and accurate customer service to the client's internal users (employees). The coordinator will be responsible for all areas of timesheet management with specific tasks listed below. Specific responsibilities include: Respond to general timesheet inquiries from all employee levels (service delivery, supervisors, managers and Directors/VP’s). Examples of such inquiries are as follows: proper charge codes, reporting PTO and holiday time, etc.  Complete password reset requests for Deltek’s Time module.  Assist employees in the use of proper charge codes for use on their respoective timesheets. Coordinate with internal departments, including HR, Payroll, Finance and Business Office, the proper completion and maintenance of employee profiles within Deltek Time & Expense. Work directly with the IT department to resolves issues related to any system challenges such as browser compatibility or outages. Communicate effectively to the organization at large any system down times and keep the organization updated on progress as well as any immediate alternatives Lead the effort in properly correcting timesheets in regards to charge codes and other timesheet data elements that drive the client's reporting and compliance structure.  Support the Sarbanes-Oxley (internal controls) process based on guidance and direction from the Payroll department as appropriate.  Partner with the Payroll Director to establish, maintain and update timesheet accounting policies, procedures and workflows in order to align with DCAA and DOL compliance. Position Requirements: At least two years of college/university attendance; College degree not required. 2+ years experience within a multi-state payroll or timekeeping capacity. Experience with Deltek GCS and/or Deltek Costpoint Time & Expense systems preferred or, as an alternative, experience with another total time accounting system. Previous experience within a Federal Government contractor organization/environment.
